West Central Illinois | I started into cattle in 2018 a year out of college, started with just 3 hd back then never dealt with cattle much before that wasn't raised on the farm. A couple things that have stuck with me :
- You have to figure out what your competitive advantage is and use it
- Iron can be toxic to the cattle business, not talking about the kind in the mineral bag talking about the kind parked in the shed
- And then a good Dave Ramsey quote, "Quit trying to keep up with the Jones's, the Jones's are going broke"
