coast of Maine
In Maine the railroads are about dead and gone.Of the only two busier lines ,,one is a canadian line that bisects the upper 1/2 of the state (shortcut from the Maritimes)and the passenger line that runs to Boston from Brunswick/Portland.There is no connection to the rest of passenger trains as you need to get on a bus in Boston to get from N station to S. station(dumb as heck). So we are basically auto/truck.Where trains are excelling is in the southern areas.Waycross Ga, is the busiest train area I have ever seen.Saw my first locomotive repair facility ,it is owned by CAT.Building perhaps the biggest .
