| i think the software should be fine if you don't have huge expectations. what version is the controller? the old "eco" or v1 controllers dont support aux-n (so need an additional joystick or just use it with the isobus screen)
depending on the screen, you might have initial troubles to get it working, since mueller has some weird communication options in their software to ensure compatibility. if you decide to fiddle around with these it would be recommended to have an old mueller terminal in case your (probably newer) screen decides to not load the pool anymore.
config is accessed when loaded through wrench -> 2x arrow right softkey -> AUX? / ISO? softkey
AUX? -> Joystick options (only works with the me-mfg sticks connected through aux-o) and sbox (small box with section switches)
ISO?
-> protocol (dont touch if you have it on a new screen -> me-eco / me-comfort / me-iso)
-> serial no. on canbus -> careful with this, if the ME won't send the SN the terminal will need to load the pool "new" everytime -> long loading time dont panic if you accidentally set this wrong.
-> condensed workstate (protocol that saves bus bandwidth by sending section status in one canbus message instead of seperately -> only use on newer isobus screens, on my 2630 i have it on)
-> DDI 141/289 this is where it gets difficult. ddi141 is older than 289 and needed for older screens. newer screens generally should accept both (have had it in ddi141 on a gen4 jd machine)
-> 2nd connector -> only needed for multi tank applications where there is 2 of these units connected together.
when changing menu options and it wants to restart, just press the "leave menu" button up until you will reach the runscreen again. the box will then restart.
mueller is unfortunately pretty secretive about their factory menu access codes.
if you have any further issues feel free to write them. i hope this was a bit of new info! | |
