Subject: A further inquire about coffee, need your input

East central Iowa

I use a BUNN coffee maker.  I make 3 cups of coffee.  Each cup is almost 9 ounces.  The ground coffee is put into a paper filter in the plastic and the water filters through.  The water is from the well and is stored in a Brita jug.  We do that to reduce the scaling that occurs with water straight from the tap.

What I'd like is a suggestion as to how much ground coffee should I put in the filter?   1/3 or 1/4 cup or some other amount?

Thanks for the suggestions and patience for my inquiry about coffee.  I've got to drink up a bit of it all before I buy any more.
