Subject: John Deere 2630 section control with non linear / offset implement boom sections

Hello, Forum!
I write to you from Germany, hoping that there is a few people that have used a 2630 a bit more than me here.
explaination => (i'm 21yrs old, have only used the Gen4 / Gen5 screens intensively.)

I have an ISOBUS implement with a staggered boom.

(it's a CULTAN liquid fertiliser injector, but functionally just a funny looking sprayer)
=> if you want to see the exact machine google "Guestrower GFI15-3" or see the attached picture. :)

on the Gen 4 screen in a 2022 6250R the sections show up as they should (the outer most sections (1.5m each side) are about 50cm behind the rest of the boom. total width is 15m.

my dad's farm also has an older 6170R, from 2013 i believe, with the old GS3 commandcenter.
We have always had a 2630 screen on the machine, and i think (not 100% on it) that the sections were working how they were supposed to before.

this year, when plugging in the ISOBUS connection to the tractor, the implement just shows up as a straight line.

since we use the machine to apply ~170kg/ha N through UAN it would be very bad to have ~50cm gaps in every section switch point

=> is there any way to fix this geometry in the 2630? or is it an implement-side issue?
=> is the 2630 even able to compute such geometries?

=> if it matters, i have the commandcenter setup as VT1 for controlling the implement, task controller, greenstar, everything else on the 2630. i also have to put the 2630 in ISOBUS mode (no brownbox emulator that way)

thanks in advance for all your knowledge.

kind regards from Germany
Clemens Zink
