NEMO | 2 bushels oats, 40-50 lbs 4010 forage peas. Call Welters seed house in Iowa, they can ship to you if you can't find the right peas. When mixing 2 seeds in the drill, it can be tough guessing the gate setting, play with it. And yes, I planted beans behind it. I've got to the point that I disk up the field before I plant beans, notill can be hit or miss because the oats can kind of harden the ground, and a lot of wheel traffic getting the forage off. Welter could advise you about the barley the above poster mentioned, but I'd think oats would come off in good time in your part of the world | |
