This is the reason every heifers calf on our farm gets a bag of colostrum when born, I see this so often even before a heifer gives birth and they have so little milk to start with. Even at 16 or 17 bucks/bag Canadian, I am sure this investment has paid for itself knowing the calf has gotten at least some colostrum immunity.
