SW MO | What kind of seeding rates do you use for the oat/pea mixture? We always tried to sow solid oats at 3 bushel per acre. I’ve tried some peas in the past but always seeded in the fall and I haven’t had the best of luck with them. We used to be able to get a variety called Frostmaster that did well down here but haven’t had the best of luck with the Austrian Winter pea. I’m trying to get something lined up for a good baleage that I can get off and double crop soybeans behind. | |
