| You wont get the yield that you will with corn silage but youd get a high quality feed if put up decent. You could get by not feeding very much of it and blending with straw, cornstalks, poor grass hay or something of the sort as filler. Made oat/pea baleage last year and the cows love it. Seeded the 15th of April, mowed June 23, Baled/wrapped June 25. Yielded about 4 tons an acre. I can attach a feed sample so you have a rough idea of what it would be like.
