Feed is feed, sample or get a feed average sample from nutritionist or internet. Wet, dry, corn, cereals, straw, wood chips, potatoes or turnips. Figure out your nutrient requirements and what it cost you per lb of dry matter to get what you need to feed your cows. You are the one who pays the bills and sharpens the pencil. with peas you may just need to add some straw of corn stalks to your mix to fill them. Best recommend is to feed sample and talk to a nutritionist.


Right here’s the answer. A good nutritionist can balance anything. I’d get a chopper for 40 acres though and do it myself.
