Main thing is to use an elevated perforated floor so that you can put the heat under them. This is the heater we have in our Polydome: https://www.westmarine.com/caframo-true-north-space-heater-21357470....

Make sure the calf can't pee directly onto the heater. The original Polydome warmers put the heater under the calf. The later ones added a box outside of the dome to put the heater in.
