Iowa | Last year after we were done calving, I saw a video of how to wrap a newborn calf that would not suck to reset his brain. I thought I saved it but can't find it now. It had to do with mimicking the birth canal as he was born. The man in the video said they would automatedly start sucking after you released the wrap. I vaguely remember it was around his ribcage but that's all I remember. This came from a reputable cattleman, but can't remember who it was now, So I believe it's something I have missed out on knowing about all these years. Can someone please educate me on this? | |
