I expect drone aerodynamics are similar to fixed wing or rotary wing aircraft. Wake turbulence (aka "downdraft") is greatest when the aircraft is heavy & slow. So, I would expect a drone that's nearly emptied it's tank & flying fast would have very little wake turbulence vs when it first starts with a full load in the tank.
