SC North Dakota | My thoughts? A 6 frame cow is the sweet spot. Maybe a little above and below. That will get you around a 1350 pound cow. True 1000 pounds cows are 4.5 frame cattle. I know. I have a few out of some OCC breeding. They just don’t have enough growth unless you throw a bigger frame bull on them. Efficiency and size are also not the same. That’s why I look real hard at EN when buying bulls. It does make a difference. As with most things, moderation is the key. | |
