We had nighttime temps of -15…-25. Dry bedding in barn, out of wind and let momma do what she knows how to do…. 5 in one 24 hr period. No cameras, just an early evening check. Occasionally, go back to see how it’s going, if needed.
I would not want to calve outside, in April in mud. Everyone needs to figure out what’s best for you or what tools and management you can work with.
