NEMO | We all have different preferences....and this whole thread only affirms that. If Jim wants to pet his cows, that's his deal, more power to him. I've seen the whole gamut of attitudes from helping all the neighbors for years. Your's know and trust the truck, yeah seen the neighbors be that way too, the problem is once you get out of the truck. Whoa, who's that thing walking around? Or worse yet when the neighbor gets out of the truck and Mrs Highhead runs for the gate, leading everyone out. That's when we get called to tail them up, or hide in the weeds by the gate to shut it quick. Your Angus cows that help push the Herefords up could be the same ones my neighbor has that you don't touch them to get them to go...you stay sorting stick distance away so you don't get kicked. All the best with your new bull | |
