Not yet done it a couple years now until early January, from what I understand the endophyte is worst in mid summer once its headed out? Usually try to give the cows 1 or 2 day paddocks that time of year and graze pretty high density to beat the fescue up amd take care of the seed heads other option is to mow it at that point but I don't like mowing pastures.
