They definitely are competitive about feed.
Sometimes I think they are just dumb. I’ve put out multiple bales. They don’t touch one. Pick it up and at take it back outside the pasture for a few days then bring it back in first. It’s usually the first one they eat. Kind of seems like they want or attracted to something new
