Southeast WI | Carburetors sucked. Always did, always will. My first new vehicle out of college was and is still here a 1990 Dodge Dakota with the 2.5 4 banger. Right at the beginning of the fuel injection era. Its never failed to start or run. Can you imagine how many times the old carb model would have had to be rebuilt over the past 35 years to run clean? I remember rebuilding carbs, adjusting points and all that crap back in the 80's. No need to ever go back to that time. | |
