Simtalk recently had an article talking about cow size and profitability. 1400 was kinda the max weight before profit started to go down. so thats why I choose that number. so I agree, 1400 isnt a small cow. but its kinda the max maybe for a small cow.

I do think that cow weight and cow frame are two different things. I think the problem is they get labeled as the same thing cause to many cattle men like myself use weight to determine size instead of using frame. all that being said i do think it is possible to have 1400 pound small frame cows. they would just be pretty fatty. where there ideal weight is probably more so 1000 to 1200 pounds
