Weigh and tag. Nothing else. If the cow has been vaccinated I truly don’t believe the calf benefits from anything until they run out of passive immunity.
I used to give calves multiple shots at birth and I always noticed that they seemed to lack vigor after day 1, it seemed it last a couple days. So I decided to quit giving the birth shots and the vigor returned.
