Subject: RE: Feeding gps signal into Raven 450

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
When I worked as a Tech some years ago, the hockey puck GPS devices for speed were quite popular. One model like yours had the Amp Plug which would work with many devices. The most common was a planter monitor as the 4 pin Amp was the closest thing to a standard.

Another GPS hockey puck style had the connector for a Raven. You would buy whichever model you needed.

Some folks wanted to use it with the planter monitor to plant but the Raven to spray so they would buy the AMP style and an adapter from us.

Some folks wanted to use a planter monitor and a Raven both at the same time. We made a different adapter for them that had two outputs.

I'm not sure what the limit would have been to keep splitting the signal but two worked fine.

Remember you will want to switch the speed setting on your Raven 450 from SP1 to SP2 when you use the hockey puck instead of the magnetic speed sensor. If you leave the setting at SP1, you will need to use an extremely small speed cal number such as "6" or "7". This would sort of work but by switching to SP2, you can use much larger meter cals which will allow you to fine tune the speed more closely to what it really is.
