Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | There are adapters made for that exact purpose. They have a 4 pin AMP connector on one end to mate with the hockey puck device. They have the Raven Conxall connector on the other end to mate with the Raven 450. They have a loose red wire which is connected to a switched 12V source. They also have a loose black wire which is connected to ground. It is possible to use the orange stub wire in the Raven display harness for the switched 12V source if desired since it goes ON/OFF with the Raven power switch. Otherwise use some other key switched 12V source.
A separate power source of 12VDC is needed since the Raven power pin only puts out 5V. Set the Raven for SP2 as you are currently set to SP1 for the wheel sensor. Enter a trial speed cal number of 650 or so. Drive the rig and observe the speed. If you see speed, great but it is likely incorrect. Adjust the speed cal to get the indicated speed on the Raven to show the speed you believe you are travelling. This can be compared to another device that you believe to be correct or you can use the distance key as a comparison to a measured distance.
These adapters can be made to work with more than one device if needed. When I worked as a Tech we made several combinations of adapters for different situations.
