For the not so bright. The issue with biden, harris, clinton and probably Bushes as well, is they are just a "christmas tree" for the bureaucracy (as labeled by a bureaucrat). The result is unelected unaccountable folks run the gov't. It might be ok, but folks with no accountability are not great in positions of power. What happens is folks (like us) say the gov't has to do something so they do, but the cost is more gov't control by unaccountable unelected folks and we get farther from the free exchange of goods and services. Keep in mind these folks don't get voted out and no program ever dies. If their jobs are threatened they scream that the world will end and weak people believe them.
So, trump isn't anything like that and is usually at odds with the bureaucracy and has fired lots and lots of them. He also makes all the presidential decisions like he is supposed to. The advantage is if we don't like the direction, we can elect a new president. We should expect this from a president and be in favor of less government power.
This is how our country is supposed to work regardless of party. | |
