It seems reasonable. I think you were too cheap to begin with which is why it seems like a big jump. They were also likely abusing your cheap travel rates and getting you out more frequently for small jobs. This could in theory if they schedule properly, not cost them a whole lot more but you'll see if they adjust to that.
