IN | I’d be more concerned with Elon capturing an asteroid loaded down with 800 billion pounds of 25% purity gold in an asteroid tanking the market. Any lab grown gold would only go to making chips and electronics as it wouldn’t have the desired effect of real gold with the masses. Think plating objects and stuff like that. Real gold, diamonds, silver will always hold more “value” than anything man made. Hell it’s all just metal and rocks….they cut tile with diamonds all the time it’s just that they aren’t sparkly. Gold isn’t even that rare just like diamonds it all relies on the intrensic value put forth by humans on the object. Even buying a lab grown 5 carat diamond doesn’t feel as special as the real deal | |
