My repair line item is off the charts this year. The "benefit"of running old equipment, lol.
You don't want to deduct tires as a repair item, put them om depreciation schedule and 179 , same net effect= no red flag. Would also put a bunch of your other repairs on the depreciation schedule. and 179... Know of a farm operation that got audited over high repair bills, they come out fine , but was big headache. Any repair cost over $1000 I put on depreciation schedule and 179. |
