S Illinois | The most recent WASDE has US milo exports up 130% yoy just to maintain the same carryover. Unshipped sales are much much better this year so it seems valid to see that sort of increase, but without corn pushing higher or exports reaching another gear, there is just a lot of milo to work through with no reason for end users to chase bushels. It was a big crop that has to compete with a lot of other feed grains.
Back east it was always at a 5-10% discount to corn so that would put it $3.80-$4. I honestly dont know anyone who handles it east of the Mississippi anymore. | |
