Web mail, or a locally installed email client?  If local, you might want to stay with a Windows tablet so you don't have switch email software or learn something new. You can do Web mail from any device.

We bought a Lenovo Tab M9 (Android) over a year ago to keep in a tractor for sprayer calculations. But we've gotten to using it daily to watch news on YouTube as we eat breakfast....will need another one for the tractor. Since calculations are done in Excel (Mobile Excel) I might get something with a bigger screen, though this one is adequate for almost anything but big spreadsheets.

It's been absolutely trouble-free, and I think we paid $90 US for it direct from Lenovo. Can't beat the price for the quality of it. They seem to direct-sell a lot of tablets which are one step back from current models.
