Cherokee iowa | Just got a hog butchered hang weight of 222. Came to 2.75 a pound. Omg bacon and sausage links Iowa chops and smoked ham. talk about delicious. Processing was 2/3 the bill. Got a beef to pick up next week hanging weight of 883. Ribeye loins tbones sirloins and one pound hamburgers. Came to $7.80 a pound. I don’t see why .20 cents in the live price would really kill demand. So get the grills shinned up and get ready to grill for Americas 250th birthday. Economy could be strong for demand for good healthy protein. Target of April $2.56 which seems out of reach till I run the numbers butchering.
