East of Broken Bow | I have had ringing in my ears off and on since I was in grade school. They attributed it to really bad ear infection - at one point it was so bad they used a needle to poke a small hole in one of my eardrums so it would drain in a controlled manner because they were afraid it might rupture.
It has gradually gotten worse over time, and I can say I don't think there was a time I can recall in the last 10 years (or more) when my ears were not ringing, I spend every waking moment with the noise.
I have been told that people with constant ringing either learn to ignore it, or go crazy. Not yet 100% sure which way I went, LOL.
