| I charged travel time 1 way, straight hourly after that and parts + markup. Keep the invoice simple labor and materials but material costs lumped together. If you spell out the price of every part some pain in the a$$ will complain " I could have bought this myself cheaper", never mind they would have to drive the 30 miles to get it and take that time out if their day.
You could just increase your hourly rate. Will the guy who lives there do as good of work or be as timely as you have been? | |
