Central, IA | I agree with Lance on Ubiquiti. Look into there Unifi line of hardware. I started messing with camera's 6-7 years ago. I bought some off brand ones that had good recommendations from a online forum and a 3rd party video recorder. I messed with it a little bit, but it was a little confusing if you didn't know what you were doing.
Fast forward a bit and Ubiquiti redesigned there video recording system to UI Protect. It has been very stable. You plug in a POE camera and it just works. It is not the cheapest hardware, more of a small-midsize business than consumer, but it is solid.
I also have some Reolink camera's that I directly access with a tablet for loading trucks, but not hooked to a recorder. Camera's are nice though. If your just looking for camera's, and not a heavy network that will probably be cheaper.
As for wireless bridges. If your thinking of having one for each camera, it would probably get kind of spendy. If your within a few hundred feet of everything, I would look into aerial ethernet cable. | |
