Thanks for the link w1891. I haven’t had time to check it out but I will when I get a chance. I haven’t made it very far down the list of responses yet actually.

To Ed, as I mentioned I haven’t had a chance to check out the link yet but all of those same issues, aside from the need for peaker plants I assume, applies to the data centres nuclear sources. With all of those issues why would a data center want to go nuke over green sources?

As far as peaker plants are concerned the green energy sources are anything but steady sources of power. In fact, sometimes they might not be supplying any power at all and will have to have other sources replace their entire capacity.
