I don't think it is about surface transportation, it is about nuclear tipped ballistic missiles shot out of submarines/ships and line of site of the Golden dome to shoot them down. Greenland is about air defense of incoming missiles and now Greenland is fully covered by NATO's collective security guarantees, and the U.S. maintains a military presence there, specifically at Pituffik Space Base. Greenland now has protection from all NATO's countries.
It is absolutely mind blowing how the Trump Derangement Syndrome destroys critical thinking of the opposing "tribe". We have not had a real leader for so long in this country, people are losing their minds because the first real reader isn't from "their tribe". Obama deported way more people than Trump has with the same assets and methodology that is being used today and not a single riot because of the "tribe" doing it. The more Trump wins the angrier radical left gets. He has already changed direction of culture of the USA and world in one year and has 3 left. Its awesome.
