Fairly certain his eye on the aforementioned 3 moves ahead, is the oil. And limiting chinas access to it. When the smoke clears around a week from now, I predict we’ll have a lot more to say about who gets access to Iranian oil than the current regime has. The 3 moves prior to the ultimate goal are smoke and mirrors. I believe it’s an almost certainty, the status quo in Iran will not be allowed to continue, and we’re about to see just who’s ass is really the blackest.

Hi Boone,
Regardless of what he is thinking, cheap oil will not be the outcome.

Take care
I don’t think his endgame is keeping oil cheap. Or even plentiful. He may even let china have some. But it won’t come cheap.

Hi Boone,
Could be. I am too ill informed to be able to figure out his plan. But it will backfire. Crude oil is gonna print new record highs way - over 200 bucks a barrel, its a done deal just hasn't happened yet. It may not do it during his term but he is gonna be the president in charge when the lows were made. Some said his legacy was to keep energy prices low. I argued with some here when he was elected that he would fail at keeping energy low because the price of oil would be higher when he leaves office then when he came in. I don't know what will happen, but I don't need to. Price knows long before we will.

Take care
