The more kids the potentially more you can deduct "pre death" which lowers your estate $ that does not have to go through probate. $ 19,000 x 6 kids x 2 parents = $228,000 a married couple can gift to get their estate down but that sum is deducted from your "lifetime exemption" as well. Just another "tool" in your  "Estate Planning Tool Box". I like to refer to it as one of your favorite Dewalt/ Milwaukee cordless tools that you grab ; ) Just one tool, but probably one of the lightest(easiest) tools to grab. ;  )
