North Dakota | Congratulations to her, you and your whole family!!! It is a milestone for sure and not achieved without a lot of ups and downs with loving support.
Dealing with cancer myself at a young age(42). It’s been 17 years since diagnosis so I can identify. You are never the same but graduate to a better version of yourself. More thankful. Weaker body but stronger in faith, mind and constitution. Healed but wear the scars left behind as markers of victory.
Having said all that, the loved ones around us survivors bear all those same traits. In many ways they have a harder go of it. Those of us dealing with cancer often have blinders on and simply forge ahead in the battle oblivious to effects on those loved ones providing invaluable love, support and care.
Wish her continued healing and Gods blessings to her, you and your whole family.
