Is your goal to eliminate estate fights, lawyer fees, etc?
If your goal is to turn your farm into maximum cash for the heirs then transfer through an estate. Transfer in death deeds are allowed in some states and a good option
I personally will try to transfer my farms/equipment to the people that I want to have it. If they sell it all (not my goal) then I personally don’t care that they pay tax.
