If for example you add guidance to a tractor and it cost $10,000 that could go on the depreciation schedule separately and would not go on property tax form. Or if you added a pto on a tractor that didn't have one or a power sweep on a bin. There are tons of examples. But as always the best advice is to ask your cpa or whoever does your taxes how they want to handle it. | |
