| classic truck or 2 or 3 to use as my daily drivers when roads arent covered in salt anyway. Im talking like '72 chevy C20 4x4's or '79 ford F150 or 250 4x4's with 4 speed manual, manual gearcases. I'll pay alot to acquire the nice ones, but as long as i keep them nice they'll hold their value better than anything else new or late model used i could drive, and it wouldnt even be close. I can write them all off, use em, sell em inside my retirement plan tax free when im done or ready for another. keep rinsing and repeating. And a way cooler ride than anything new i can buy today. I was in Fort worth last week, and there was such a truck parked along the street down at rhe stockyards, nothing over the top, just a really nicely restored classic, lifted just a little, nice wheels and tires. And it always had about 8 guys walking around it, taking pictures. When the last time you've seen that kind of crowd fawning over a new 3/4 ton Denali diesel? i could make the same case for using classic semis in the operation. Amazing how much they bring, hold their value, even appreciate.
