Subject: RE: Tankless water heater

Southwestern IL St. Clair Co.
Have had a Rinnai for 15 ish years. On a well, have water softener, which is a must for it.
We love the endless supply of hot water when we need it. Like said, dishwasher can run, washer and be the 3rd shower and still have hot water.
I don't know the saving on LP, but has to be big, versus having a tank of hot water heating 24/7.
Installation was not cheap for sure, in our case air pipe (intake and exhaust) was a BIG expense, had to run a ways to get outside.
Only thing I'd like to do different was have two, one closer to my kitchen and another closer to bathrooms, but this has nothing to do with tankless versus tank water heater and more about plumbing logistics. I'm not sure how practical two would be, could be smaller, but haven't research this at all.
