 Pittsburg, Kansas | CEF is trading at a big discount now. 8% to net asset value. Usually runs a couple percent. PSLV also. PHYS not so much.

That is one of the down sides to closed end funds. They can trade above or below net asset value. If a person wants to sell when there's a big discount, not so good. Of course buying when there is a big discount can be a plus if the discount narrows later.
The positive for precious metals is they qualify for capital gains tax rates instead of collectables or ordinary gains.
