20 miles west of Indianapolis Indiana | north1 - 1/28/2026 10:35 Have never raised corn but I think fringe areas will be mega corn acres. This is based on the farmers I have talked to. Seed dealers I have talked to. Fertilizer dealers I have talked to. Machinery dealers selling used planters and parts that I have talked to. Several farmers around me that have never raised corn are for 2026. Also those who have are increasing acres. Why? Corn just sucks less than the alternatives.
$1.75 negative basis and no bid wasn't long ago. i wouldn't wanna plant many beans if you haven't confidence in the selling of them. as much as i hope we just see 90 million idk why it wouldn't be what we saw this year and some... |
