| Something that I have wondered is why, throughout earths history, does everything get buried. In general, the further down archeologists dig the farther back in history they are researching. This seems to be a planet wide phenomenon. It seems to happen in the rainforests as well as the deserts.
I’m sure someone who studies it will know. But for the sake of this argument it seems that while we tend to view erosion and deposition as a man made event it appears that it is also a natural ongoing process even without human involvement.
I’m not saying that various human activities don’t affect the rates or areas where it occurs but it’s also a natural process that has always happened. | |
