| I'm 3 years into a Navien LP. Absolutely love it. I can take a "lobster boil" shower in the dead of winter on well water with the dishwasher and washing machine running. I can be the 5th shower of the night with the dishwasher and washing machine running and take a rocket hot shower. You couldn't pay me to use anything but a tankless LP water heater.
I have done zero maintenance, but they recommend soft water (I do have a softener that I keep full of salt) and the occasional back flush of the heat exchanger. Been too lazy to do that. No other maintenance to it.
