Western CO | I worked for Rockwell Aerospace Systems then. As prime contractor for the Shuttle it was a very somber day at work that day. Later that year my wife and i toured the Kennedy Space Center and saw the launch platform from that launch. It had not been cleaned up after the launch - the tour guide told us normally it was cleaned and repainted within a few days of the launch. It was still part of the investigation at that point. | |
