I'm going to link to this old thread again because I edited it. My wife has found adding a few other ingredients improved the moistness and texture of the biscuits. The added ingredients are listed at the bottom of the recipe.
The three additional ingredients are not something most people will have on the shelf and will have to order but Carolynn has found she uses these enough she just keeps them on hand. Even down here in Bonaire. We packed some and brought them down with us this trip. All are available in bulk packages via Amazon and probably other sources.
We eat these biscuits two or three times a week. They are delicious with butter.
She has worked and experimented with this biscuit recipe over the last year and has it perfected.
