If my math is right, you could get a million easy and relatively quick, that would be a more than 20% discount. I'd think a coin or pawn shop could arrange that in a day or two if not less.
If you had ounce or smaller coins and wanted to sell retail, you could get over spot price, but it would take a while and cost a bit in security.
