WC MN | Lots of talk of 94-95 million corn acres for 26'. Why would we drop 3 to 5 million acres? Less cotton, less spring wheat, less rice? Beans are still at least a dollar or more below water. Corn is pretty close to break even or a bit better. Why would we not plant 97-98 million again? In reality, we may have planted 100 million in 25'. I guess rotation, but a lot of guys obviously had good luck with corn after corn last year. Fall was good so field work could take place in preparation. I just don't see how we are below 96 million or probably below 97. | |
